Everton have confirmed Andre Gomes suffered a fracture dislocation to his right ankle joint in Sunday’s Premier League draw against Tottenham, with the portugal international set to bear surgery on Mon.
Gomes was set out on a stretcher within the last half at Goodison Park following a challenge from Son Heung-min that saw the Everton player then run into serge Aurier.

“The portugal international was stretchered from the pitch throughout the last half of the sport and brought straight to Aintree hospital by motorcar amid members of the Everton medical team. when undergoing hospital tests, it had been confirmed he had suffered a fracture dislocation to his right ankle joint.”
